Milwaukee is a city of incredible resilience, rich culture, and strong communities. Yet it's also one of the most racially segregated metropolitan areas in the country—a place where conversations about opportunity often begin with a ZIP code instead of the people who call it home.

I've always believed we can do better.

Maps have the power to change the conversation. They help us move beyond statistics and stereotypes to better understand the people, neighborhoods, and stories that make Milwaukee what it is. Geography doesn't just show us where challenges exist—it reveals where opportunity lives, where resources are needed, and where communities are already thriving.

That's why I started Cream City Carto.

I believe every neighborhood deserves to be seen, every organization deserves to have its impact recognized, and every community deserves a voice in shaping its future. My hope is that through thoughtful maps, meaningful data, and accessible technology, we can help tell the stories that too often go unheard.

Because no one should ever be defined by a ZIP code.
